As much as an individual would like to keep their friends for an entire lifetime, things don’t always go as planned. Hulk Hogan and a few of his wrestling buddies shared a similar fate. In a recent podcast episode with Theo Von, The Hulkster revealed how he lost an ultimate bond with one of his friends even 40 years of togetherness couldn’t save their friendship.
In the podcast, Hogan briefly elaborated on what went wrong between the two wrestlers. What started off as a long-term friendship ended up collapsing because of ‘lady trouble’ that got in the middle of their bond.

While talking to Theo Von, Hulk Hogan revealed a lot of personal details about himself that were exclusive to that podcast. During his time in the wrestling industry, Hogan got acquainted with Brutus Beefcake. ‘The Barber’ and The Hulkster worked together for as long as 40 years. In fact, according to Hogan, the two have also traveled a lot together because of their work. Despite the long-term acquaintance, the friendship came to an end because of Beefcake’s wife.
Feeling nostalgic about his old friends, Hulk Hogan recalled, “And then another one of the guys that I traveled with for 40 years on the road, Brutus Beefcake, him and I had a falling out… We had a little bit of a falling out so we don’t even talk anymore, you know. I mean, there’s nothing to talk about. It’s gotta lot to do with the lady he’s married to. Nothing really to do with him. So, I’ll pass.”
Hogan revealed that even though nothing bad has gone down between him and his old friend, it’s his wife who is the reason for the bitterness between them.
It looks like Hogan isn’t interested in talking to Brutus again, primarily because of his wife. Although it was a rather sad memory to revisit, that wasn’t the end of the nostalgia lane for Hogan.
He also remembered the late Randy Savage and revealed a wholesome detail about him.

In the same podcast episode, he told Theo Von that the two wrestlers would be together every single day, especially during their wrestling days. Despite missing his late friend, the 69-year-old was able to pull his thoughts together to give us a wholesome detail.
The WWE Hall of Famer said that the two wrestler friends were so close that Randy and his wife, Elizabeth, would often babysit Hogan’s kids. So, not only were the two wrestlers close during their work hours but also had a good bond in their personal lives too.
