Hulk Hogan during his latest interview on a podcast spoke about several things, including the credibility of WWE and the issue of pro wrestling being called fake. Hogan although, did not give a clear answer behind its credibility, he blamed Vince McMahon for failing to defend it from being called fake.

Speaking on the Full Send Podcast, when asked if WWE is fake, Hogan claimed that it is not fake but pre-determined. He replied that current WWE superstars do not defend the company when it is called fake, whereas during their time they would beat the accuser down.

Hogan said, “Most people understand its pre-determined. We know one of us is gonna win or lose. So, we are gonna call that fake? I don’t care. Back then if somebody said it was fake, front chin lock, Richard Belzer passed out. Half a million dollars later, proved my point right?”

The 69-year-old further said, “I mean we used to defend the business you know if someone said it was fake you’d punch them right in the mouth back in the 70s and 80s. But then you know with the commissions and stuff, when Vince de-regulated wrestling, said it was an exhibition.”

The Hulkster would indirectly blame Vince McMahon for not being able to defend pro wrestling anymore, and just agreeing with anyone calling the sport fake. When compared to other combat sports such as MMA and boxing, WWE comes off as very light, but often it has its own mishaps as well and turns very violent and dangerous.
