In January 2024, DJ joined the TKO Board of Directors. He signed a deal with Endeavor to join the management team that will lead both WWE and UFC. Considering Johnson’s prior experience in wrestling, his enthusiasm for sports, and his growing excellence in business, it was a match made in heaven.

While these types of deals are usually confidential, there were a few revelations that were reported to the public. It was revealed on an episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio that The Brahma Bull joined TKO and received an equity stake worth around $30 million.

Moreover, he is also signed with WWE under the ‘Legends’ contract. According to several reports online, WWE pays the Hollywood actor $5 million per year under this deal.

While his regular income from TKO isn’t made public, the equity that he received when joining, plus the yearly WWE contract, seems to be enough to keep Dwayne Johnson motivated to perform for his wrestling fans across the globe.

It has been several weeks since Johnson joined TKO, but some fans are still not aware of the role that he has to play as a director on board. If you are one of them, we have got you covered.

Triple H had been crowned the CCO of WWE long before The People’s Champion joined TKO as a board member. So, for a long time, he was Dwayne Johnson’s boss in WWE. However, this dynamic changed a little following the deal in January 2024. While Paul Levesque remained the CCO of WWE, head of the creatives in the company, Johnson became his overseer.

TKO gave ‘The Great One’ the power to oversee all the actions going on in TKO. Although he wouldn’t be doing so without a team, this still puts him in a cross-check position across the table with Triple H.
