Jey Uso has been on a roll ever since he joined RAW. It’s like he was reborn after leaving The Bloodline. He even went on to win his first tag team title without his brother, Jimmy Uso. But parting ways with his brother meant that he also had to shed his skin from the old and start afresh. One of the most important aspects he had to decide upon was his new entrance music.

This led to the creation of the now fan favorite “Main Event Ish”.

The Usos original theme song “Done with That” was released on 14th October 2016. The remixed version of this song has nearly 17 million views on the WWEMusic YouTube channel. This goes to show how much the WWE universe loves The Usos’ rap game.

But post him leaving The Bloodline, WWE wanted Jey Uso to remove Jimmy Uso from that original track. They wanted him to come up with something which he could use for his solo entrance. He then went into the studio in New York to rework the original. In his recent interview with Billboard, Jey Uso described in detail how his new entry song, “Main Event Ish” came into existence.

He stated, “I’m in there (studio) with another young homie. He’s like trying to help me find the rhythm. He goes ‘It’s just you now’. I go ‘Yeah, it is. It’s just me on the track’. Then I started like ‘It is just me in this b***h’. It’s my turn. I started getting in that mindset. I was like ‘Main Event Jey Uso is now in yo city!’. I started yelling on there, and he’s plugging it in. Taking the old parts out and plugging in the new s**t”.

Jey Uso also mentioned that he kept a certain part of the song without any lyrics so he could use that to interact with the crowd with the “hip-hop hooray handwave”. This new song debuted during Jey Uso’s return to WWE at Payback.

But just like Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso also now has his own entrance song.

Jimmy Usos’ new entrance song is called “Born A King”

After parting ways with his brother, Jimmy Uso also had to come up with a new entrance music that defined him. The Bloodline member’s new entrance music debuted on SmackDown on 1st September and it is produced by def rebel.
