Hours Before World Title Defense, Rhea Ripley Takes a Cheeky Dig at New Raw Member Jey Uso

WWE stars often play along with each other’s kayfabe characters even outside the ring to keep things interesting for fans. This gives birth to hilarious moments, whether we witness them online or in person. Recently Rhea Ripley retweeted a picture on her official Twitter account. While the picture in itself appears to be odd, her caption alongside adds humor to it.

The Eradicator saw a post with Jey Uso‘s picture on it. The fan-made edit showed Uso adorning Ripley’s aesthetics with piercings and a similar haircut to the female wrestler. Seeing the picture, Mami couldn’t hold in her reaction any longer and retweeted it with a funny caption.

Jey Uso left WWE after his SummerSlam match with Roman Reigns. The Samoan wrestler felt betrayed by his twin and was so done with The Bloodline that he announced he would be leaving the promotion altogether. Now, after his ‘return’ to the Stamford-based company, Ripley saw it as the perfect opportunity to make fun of his new title “Main Event” Jey Uso.

The fan-made edit used a picture of Jey Uso and pinned on aspects similar to Ripley’s heel character, complete with emo hair and piercings. Amused by the picture, Ripley responded to it, saying, “Judgment day Uce,” poking fun at the Uso twin.

Uso’s current status after leaving The Bloodline and his twin behind is unknown. While this could be foreshadowing Uso’s potential future of joining the heel faction, this mockery might also result in the two building up a feud.

Moreover, Ripley’s claim regarding The Judgment Day running WWE might not sit well with the speculated stable. It may lead to a feud that could have Ripley and Uso directly facing off against each other. Uso might also need redemption in the form of a heel as equally threatening as his cousin, Reigns. In such a case, Mami would be the perfect fit. With Rhodes announcing on Payback that Uso would be leaving SmackDown for Raw, the opportunities are endless on where the twin could end up.
