The July 14th SmackDown episode wasn’t a memorable one for Paul Heyman. The 57-year-old was knocked out cold by Jey Uso, who was offended by Heyman and Solo Sikoa blaming him for Jimmy Uso’s health scare. The senior Uso twin was injured in an attack by Roman Reigns and Sikoa on the July 7 episode.

To make the night worse for him, Heyman’s alleged girlfriend trolled him, just hours after Jey Uso’s assault. The two unfortunate events definitely made the night a very dismal one for the legendary WWE icon.

WWE presenter Kayla Braxton has been on the receiving end of Paul Heyman’s kayfabe ire on more than one occasion. The 32-year-old finally got even with the manager of the crumbling faction once led by Roman Reigns.

The WWE backstage presenter and Heyman found themselves in an awkward position last month when Roman Reigns cracked an impromptu joke. Moments after Reigns arrived at the Rupp Arena with Heyman and Solo Sikoa in tow for the June 16 episode of SmackDown, Braxton approached the trio for an interview.

While snubbing her, Reigns quipped “Wise Man, your girlfriend’s here” to a Heyman who was visibly taken aback. She then asked Heyman for an update on The Bloodline, but was snubbed again, this time by the legendary manager.

But Braxton finally had the last laugh when she dropped a two-word message for her alleged boyfriend after the SmackDown event on the 14th.

In a chat with Ryan Satin last year, Braxton had given her take on Paul Heyman. Do you know what her initial thoughts about the previous ECW owner were?

“I was like, ‘Who’s this loud, obnoxious man that I have to sit next to? He talks over me all the time, hijacks the show.’ It was like who is this?” she said. However, it started to change as the weeks passed.

“…the mind of that man, he’s such a brilliant human being,” Braxton added.

She told the host that Heyman has helped her hone her skills. “I don’t think if I hosted that show with anybody else, I would have flourished with anybody else as I had in the last couple of years,” she stated.

Braxton isn’t the only WWE employee to share a note of gratitude for Heyman. Several WWE wrestlers too have done it in the past. But has her feelings for the 57-year-old changed? Fans will have to wait to see how Heyman responds to the tweet for that. He will be present on the next episode of SmackDown with Reigns.
