Ever since her UFC days, Ronda Rousey has been vocal with her thoughts. Whether it is WWE or UFC, she never shies away from saying what’s on her mind. Sometimes this has got her in feuds with other MMA fighters but nothing serious. Right now, Rousey has just got herself at the top of the WWE tag team division, after winning the titles. But she isn’t wasting any time speaking her truth out there.
Ronda Rousey talks about the shortcomings in the women’s tag team division
Just this past Monday, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler became the new tag team champions. In a fast-paced 4-way match to determine the winner, the former MMA fighter duo came out on top when Rousey made Shotzi tap out. The pair was happy to have won the championships. But in a recent interview with the New York Post, Rousey has some bitter words for the company and the division.

First, she pointed out that none of the other teams were on the duos level. She mentioned that the pair had the hope of defending the titles often, but the tag team division is dismal right now. She then blamed the company for not caring enough about the division and giving it time and care like the other storylines.
Further, she said, “You know, stories and a division, a tag division with around 10 women or even less on each roster. I mean, we’re trying the best that we can to make chicken s**t into chicken salad, and we made some amazing chicken salad.”
While Rousey is clearly blaming WWE for the shift in the tag division since she left it, fans have another person to blame. In everything she’s involved in nowadays, it feels like fans tend to hate Rousey for it.
Ronda Rousey’s currently receiving hate from fans
All of this started when Rousey returned after giving birth to her first child. While she had been a heel before, WWE decided to turn her babyface and share her struggles in the ring. But that failed miserably. Not only was she unable to garner support from the fans, but the fans despised Rousey for it.

Later her feud with Charlotte Flair went nowhere and disappointed fans even further. Her title reign after it was also underwhelming according to the fans. After losing it to Flair once again, Rousey once again took a break from wrestling.
Coming back with Baszler has been a breath of fresh air for Rousey. But it is also failing following a series of botches in matches and segments. With this new title reign, Rousey might turn the fans’ perspective on her character in WWE.
