While WWE fans mostly acknowledge the iconic rivalries, there are some tales of friendship that offered a different taste to them from time to time.

One of the greatest dynamics of the late 90s professional wrestling days was between Hulk Hogan and WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff. WCW television formed the initial chemistry between the two gems of the pro wrestling world. The bond strengthened when they eventually reunited at TNA around 2009. Former WCW president Bischoff recently reflected on his three-decade-long association with the Hulkster.

Despite having their fair share of critics, one of the most polarizing figures of wrestling inside and outside the ring believes it was an utter pleasure to him to work with Hogan for such a long period. The WWE Hall of Famer also stated that he felt more comfortable with Hogan during their TNA run because of their past association with WCW.

Describing how well the two used to get along with each other, The 67-year-old noted,‘ With regard to Hulk by the time I went to TNA I knew because Hogan and I grew very close professionally, business I worked you know on the other side of the negotiating table against him so to speak you know negotiating deals with him I was on the same side of the table with him on a number of occasions in a number of deals.

The former on-screen RAW GM continued, “So the result of that which all took place after I left WCW the result of that gave me a real feel for what was important to Hulk Hogan what was important in terms of character what things he felt most strongly about what he was comfortable with what he wasn’t comfortable with.”

Bischoff also noted that Hogan was equally comfortable with him if not more and revealed how he used to count on him in every step of his professional move, be it signing a deal or having some business talk on his behalf.

Bischoff was indeed loyal to Hogan, staying by his side during all those good and bad days throughout.

While Hogan’s WCW journey showed a very promising start, it, however, didn’t end on a good note. WCW Bash at the Beach 2000 was the last time when we got to see Hogan wrestling under the WCW ring. His infamous conflict with WCW head writer Vince Russo, which is a secret to none, reportedly pushed him to part ways.

During the Bash at the Beach show, Jeff Jarrett unexpectedly broke his character and laid down in the ring. Although Hogan ended up pinning Jarrett at last, it made him furious with Vince Russo. It turned out so big that Hogan left WCW for good following the incident and even filed a lawsuit against Russo. Bischoff was the one who had Hogan’s back at that time and left the promotion as well, giving up on his high-profile role in the company.

Although Bishoff and Hogan quite obviously went through many arguments and disagreements from time to time, their friendship is still going strong, regardless of everything.
