The WWE Universe remained privy to another episode of RAW where Brock Lesnar attacked Cody Rhodes. It has been an ongoing theme since RAW after ‘Mania. On that infamous day, Lesnar turned heel and took out Rhodes in a brutal tale of backstabbing. This Monday, The Beast Incarnate left the 2023 Royal Rumble winner with an apparent broken arm, forcing Triple H to have a word. The American Nightmare, however, was adamant during the conversation, which took place backstage.

After it aired, fans made several predictions involving The Game and the 37-year-old Rhodes.

The WWE Head of Creative didn’t beat around the bush as he told Dusty Rhodes’ younger son that he knew his arm was broken. It was evident that Triple H wanted Rhodes to forego the planned match at Night of Champions against Lesnar.

Rhodes, however, told the 53-year-old that he couldn’t afford to be a “coward” and a “shadow” of himself and return to RAW after NOC. He rhetorically asked The Game what he would do, before answering that his senior colleague fought and that is what Rhodes will do too. “That’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to Night of Champions and I’m going to fight Brock Lesnar,” the 37-year-old said.

A fan found it incredible that Rhodes and Triple H had a conversation, hinting about the former’s past departure and AEW stint: “The fact that triple h is talking to Cody is still nuts.

But another user had a contrasting view: “I love to see HHH and Cody in the same room.”

If Cody Rhodes loses, there is a possibility that The Prince of Pro Wrestling goes down to The Beast Incarnate. Apart from the broken hand, which will impede the former WWE Tag Team Champion, Lesnar’s win will balance the score between the two. The 45-year-old had lost to Rhodes at WWE Backlash on May 6, busting himself open during the bout. A loss would keep the score at 1-1 and make it an even contest if they decide to face off in any future WWE PLEs.

If Cody Rhodes wins: A win against the former WWE champion is a huge milestone. Be it WWE icon John Cena or current champion Roman Reigns, a win against Lesnar has played an important role in giving impetus and credibility to their respective careers. If the 37-year-old manages to win with a broken hand, it’s likely to elevate his status as a pro wrestler. On the other hand, the win will add weight to his challenge to Roman Reigns in the future.
