Prichard said, “I’ll go back to the very first meeting where we didn’t come to an agreement where Steve decided he didn’t want to come to the WWF and went back to WCW. Steve would tell us it sucked. And from day one with The Ringmaster and some of the different things that we had done with him. Steve had always been outspoken.

He further continued that Austin would often bring in changes in the script. But they would eventually help the company as well. “I think it was just Steve’s personality. And if there was there were times when things were good that he would it was always really funny. He would get the scripts and walk by and go ‘Yeah, I ain’t f**king doing any of this shit’, crumble up the script or throw it, throw it away, tear it up, and then storm into Vince’s office and he and Vince would work it out.”
