The former member of The Bloodline, Jey Uso has made a name for himself. The 38-year-old star gained fame in the pro wrestling world for his superkicks and his reliability as a tag team partner. His latest stint in doubles competition was with Cody Rhodes when the tag team faced Damian Priest and Finn Balor of Judgment Day. The fight ended with Rhodes and Uso winning and snatching the Undisputed Tag Team Championship title from them. But as he has made a name for himself as a great partner, fans have been wondering whether the star has ever won any singles match throughout his career.
Jey Uso and Battle Royale
On April 9, 2021, fans witnessed the fight for one of the most prestigious memorials at WWE, Andre the Giant Memorial. To win this title, stars are pitted against each other in a battle royale esquire situation. For the year 2021, Jey Uso battled against stars from both Raw and SmackDown. Eventually, it came down to Jey Uso and Shinsuke Nakamura. In the end, Uso won the title after defeating Nakamura.

Andre The Giant Battle Royal Memorial is held as a part of WrestleMania. The memorial is in honor of Andre The Giant. The 2-meter tall wrestler was a master of battle royales at WWE, hence getting a memorial in his name. It was inaugurated in 2014 at WrestleMania 30. The first winner of the bout was Cesaro and the latest winner was Bobby Lashley.

By winning the memorial, Uso had proved that he was an all-rounder. He can win tag team titles and he can survive on his own. But the star was once moments away from becoming the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
Jey Uso almost becomes the Tribal Chief this year
On June 9th, 2023, Paul Heyman made some interesting revelations. He told Jey Uso that it was time for him to betray his brother, Jimmy Uso and join hands with Roman Reigns. He even revealed that Jimmy Uso is aware that Jey Uso is being groomed to be the next Tribal Chief. And then he revealed the first step to becoming the chief, defeating Austin Theory. Heyman revealed that he has set up a match between Jey Uso and Austin Theory for Theory’s United States Champion title. After the conversation, he agreed to the match but did not shake hands with Heyman, suggesting a hidden agenda.

But during the bout, things went down. Jimmy Uso tried to interfere with the match. As he was about to superkick Theory, he accidentally attacked his twin brother. Theory used this as leverage to retain his Title. Uso lost the chance to win another prestigious singles title.
