The former Women’s tag team champion fell victim to another attack from Zoey Stark, which cost her the bout against Trish Stratus. But all is not lost for The Man. She now has a chance to get even with the WWE Hall of Famer.

While the match started inside the ring, it soon spilled over. Relentless, both superstars were nor afraid to trade blows outside the ring as several fans cheered them on. With Lynch having the upper hand, a sneak attack from Zoey Stark, Stratus’ trusted aide, snatched it away.

The rookie and the Hall of Famer attacked The Man together, leaving her battered.

At backstage, WWE’s Director of Live Events, Adam Pearce had a confrontation with both Stratus and her accomplice. The 45-year-old was miffed with Stark’s involvement in the August 14 bout. As a measure, he sanctioned a steel cage match between Lynch and Stratus.

This isn’t the first time Stark has played a pivotal role in handing Stratus a win against Lynch. She had also cost the former RAW Women’s Champion her match at Night of Champions in May.
