At 74, wrestling legend Ric Flair defies age and health setbacks. In 2017, he battled a life-threatening health crisis, losing six months of his life and relearning how to walk through intense rehabilitation. The WWE had first retired him in 2008 due to concerns about his safety in the ring. His vulnerability to bleeding was primarily due to the blood thinners he was taking at the time. Despite these challenges, Flair was determined to have a last match on his own terms.
Later, he came back for the second time but again retired in 2011. Flair competed in his last match in pro wrestling in 2022. He teamed up with his son-in-law Andrade el Idolo to defeat Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal
However, recently, in an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Flair made a surprising revelation. Flair, older than his wrestling counterpart, proclaimed his freedom from pain when a younger wrestler openly shared his own struggles.
He said, “No aches and pains, knock on wood right?” On saying this, the interviewer asked him what was is it because to which he replied, “No it’s because I just God gave me a gift. I mean… my rotator cuffs I’ve torn and all that but I don’t have… I have limited range… mhm but I have no pain.”

Hulk Hogan’s summary of his physical state: “Everything hurts.”
Hulk Hogan, the wrestling legend, recently opened up about his constant physical discomfort. Despite his iconic wrestling career, his body is paying the price. Even simple tasks like brushing his teeth are painful.
In an interview with Chris Vlient a week ago, Hogan revealed that he’d choose pain over a perfect walk if given the choice. He described the constant aches and pains as hard to put into words, illustrating his daily struggles. His body’s limitations extend to basic movements, like brushing his teeth, which require leaning in and pulling back due to his joint issues.

Hogan attributed his condition to his lengthy wrestling career and playfully remarked that he had never received the memo about wrestling being scripted. He downplayed his situation and mentioned his reliance on two cups of coffee and two Tylenol to start his day. While he acknowledged that Tylenol’s effectiveness has diminished, it has become a routine for him. He mentioned that they were currently holding his biopic.
