The Monday Night Raw held at the Allstate Arena in Chicago showcased an epic edition that built at full pace toward WrestleMania. The March 25th episode showcased Dwayne Johnson thrashing and clobbering Cody Rhodes and giving the WWE Universe a spectacle of what would happen at the Show of Shows.

Everything about the backstage brawl shook everyone. Including The Rock fulfilling his prophecy of drawing blood from Cody Rhodes and soaking it on his belt under the dark and rainy clouds of Chicago. Interestingly, the fans absolutely loved the entire segment and hailed the ‘Final Boss’ avatar of Dwayne Johnson as the harbinger of pro wrestling’s revival.

The Rock completely dominated the episode of Raw despite the crowd having gathered for their homeboy CM Punk. Cody Rhodes was speaking to the crowd and talking about how he would demolish Dwayne Johnson and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL. But before he could finish, The Brahma Bull’s music played and the crowd instantly went wild. Dwayne Johnson uploaded a clip of the same on his Instagram with the caption, “Final boss. @wwe @tkogrp #RAW #Chicago.”

The video showcased a tall and strong Rock emerging from the darkness with blue bolts of lightning in the background. Blue lights cast an electrifying spotlight on Johnson to give his appearance more edge.

While this was potent enough to send the 85,000-plus attendance of Chicago hailing Dwayne Johnson, he later pulverized Cody Rhodes backstage as well. The Rock had used any object he got his hands on to show Rhodes a real American Nightmare.

Lastly, he even slammed the Royal Rumble winner’s head into a supply truck of his own vodka brand, The Wheatley American, for added drama. The electrifying entrance of Dwayne Johnson and the cinematic beatdown of Cody Rhodes sold extremely well with the people. There was no security also at that moment as per other wrestlers like Damian Priest

Pro wrestling had not recently seen a momentum booster with the predictive nature of WWE storylines. However, the freshness of drama and action brought by The Rock saw fans praising several great things about the Chicago episode.

When The Final Boss filled everyone with enthusiasm

Fans highly appreciated the ‘Final Boss’ gimmick of Dwayne Johnson and greatly admired the concept of the character. Talking about the overused Cody Rhodes versus Roman Reigns storyline, a fan wrote, “Rock saved this whole storyline.”
