Taking to her X (formerly Twitter) account, the 34-year-old decided to reveal her feelings on the departure of the noted commentator. Deciding not to sugarcoat words, she simply wrote, “We will not miss you @michaelcole . #SmackDown”

With Cole gone, it is time for Cory Graves and Kevin Patrick to take the lead in the booth. While it is still unsure how long the change is going to last, fans will miss the legendary voice of the 55-year-old veteran, but Bayley, who has an on-screen rivalry with Cole, won’t be one of them.

But why the switch up? Well, this isn’t the first time that Cole has been part of such a shuffle. But what would the new commentary team look like? Let’s dive in to find out.

Michael Cole started his career as a backstage interviewer for RAW back in 1997 before being made the commentator for the Red brand. And when SmackDown debuted in 1999, Cole became its first commentator. However, in August, WWE announced that they would be having a two-man booth for RAW and a three-man booth for SmackDown.

This move made Cole a commentator for both shows and gave Corey Greaves and Kevin Patrick a chance to hone themselves further by working alongside the very best. However, the total duration of the change was not mentioned. And now, as we all know, the WWE has decided to make the shuffle again, and now the 55-year-old will only be seen alongside Wade Barett.
