As this episode of WWE SmackDown begins, we see the arrival of WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Accompanied by the Wiseman Paul Heyman, he had a few words for Jimmy Uso. Later on in the night, he will join his cousin, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, to address the fans about where The Bloodline is headed.

This WWE SmackDown episode will be the first time after the WrestleMania XL Kicoff event that these two megastars have been in the ring. Despite sharing the stage at the Las Vegas show, fans were uncertain about how The Rock felt about Tribal Chief Reigns.

Roman Reigns looks happy with Jimmy Uso ahead of reuniting with Dwayne Johnson

As Roman stepped out of his car, it was clear there was something different. The always stoic Reigns had a huge smile on his face. This is out of character for The Tribal Chief. Moreover, when he saw Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa waiting for him, he went in for a hug. It’s not the typical Reigns hug but more like a friendly hug.

Reigns said, “Let’s go fix everything they messed up.” Reigns has been on Jimmy Uso to fix whatever he didn’t like on SmackDown with little to no success. However, with Johnson backing him up now, there could be some major changes that Reigns knows about, and the audience and the WWE Universe will find out.

Reigns has been on a tangent of ‘fixing things, ‘ which for him means ‘making it happen the way he wants it.’ However, as mentioned earlier, this has not happened. But, now, with the TKO board member The Rock by his side, things may take a turn for the better for The Tribal Chief.

How the General Managers of RAW and SmackDown could side with Dwayne Johnson

There has been a rumor regarding The Rock facing off against Triple H. While Triple H is not cleared for in-ring bouts, the two may have a power struggle. On the RAW after the Kickoff event, Hunter said that he was the only shotcaller in the WWE. However, The Rock, with his newfound power as a board member could try to overrule it.

This is where the GMs of both brands could also play a part. It will be up to Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce to choose a side. Should they side with the Head of Content or a member of the Board of TKO?
