In December last year, the WWE left many of its fans in shock after the promotion parted ways with Mandy Rose. A day before the axing, Rose dropped her NXT Women’s Championship to Roxanne Perez. Even though it looked a little out of place for a champion to end her 413-day reign like this, developments following it cleared the air.

There was no mention of Mandy Rose dropping her belt in Shawn Michaels’s initial writing. However, miffed by developments in the 32-year-old’s personal life, the storyline was changed. It led to the infamous firing of the superstar. Now, over five months later, the Stamford-based promotion meted similar treatment toward Rose, leaving her with few words.

Before her unceremonious departure, Rose was part of the Toxic Attraction stable, which she formed with Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne. With their leader gone from the company, Dolin and Jayne turned on one another and soon the friendship turned into bitter enmity.

The two remaining members of the now-defunct stable recently squared off against one another in a weaponized steel cage match. However, before the bout began, WWE aired a video package of the two. Surprisingly, they left out Rose from it, eclipsing her contribution towards the stable that housed the other two superstars.

The snub hurt the former NXT Women’s Champion, who tweeted, “Wowww… All I gotta say.” On the other hand, Dolin won the match, taking her personal score against Jayne 2-1.

Meanwhile, Rose was axed from the roster due to her activities on FanTime. The exclusive content helped her earn money but was deemed by WWE to go against their policies. But how did WWE find out?

Current WWE trainer likely to have played a part in Mandy Rose’s December snub

According to the Wrestling Observer, a 331-pounder former WWE superstar was behind the axing of the former NXT champion. The outlet named Matt Bloom, who was formerly known as Albert and A-Train, as the person who informed Shawn Michaels about the changing nature of Rose’s subscription service.

Bloom is a senior coach at WWE’s Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. His information to Michaels forced him to ditch the original script for the December 13, 2022, NXT show and write a new ending for Rose.

However, the former WWE superstar has since moved on and recently gave fans good news. Though Rose is not wrestling currently, she still has 3.5 million subscribers on Instagram and is among one of the top most followed wrestling personalities on the social media site. Fans, however, would be hoping for her comeback. But WWE’s recent snub has rained on that chance yet again.
