The Judgement Day is currently one of the most floundering factions in existence in the promotion. The villainous members do justice to the reputation they earned through their notorious antics and praise-worthy skills. That said, it seems like their cemented union is at stake now.

There has been a lot of tension swirling over the stable lately. The differences between Finn Balor and Damian Priest that became visible in the Money in the Bank and the following Raw episodes eventually culminated in the air of explosion. Despite fans’ continuously voicing out their discontent, WWE won’t likely refrain from pulling out the split card, as per the recent report. But who will be the victim of the plan? Is it Balor or is it Priest?

After the backstage tension between Senor Money in The Bank and Finn Balor came to light at MITB, the former’s unintentional distraction cost Balor the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at SummerSlam. The two incidents were so connected that fans easily made out what WWE tried to convey. In the same flow, Last week’s Raw episode could bring some more drama to the table, but it didn’t. Rather, the band stood tall against its opponents.

But it looks like a split is inevitable no matter what. Yes, the nefarious faction is on the verge of getting dispersed, with Damian Priest planning a walkout.

Wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer noted in his latest report, ”While this could easily change, the long-term plan is Priest out of Judgment Day.

The report also reflected on the potential replacement of Priest in the faction.

Who is gearing up to join forces with Judgement Day as Damian Priests’ perfect replacement?

Despite not being the leader of the faction, Priest has been holding an important status inside the faction for a long. While he might prompt to have a single run post-split, his impending exit brought up the most crucial question: who could take up his place in the group? With the rift unfolding more layers with time, it turned out JD McDonagh is the one WWE chose to vest the sole responsibility of filling the void.

While it’s definitely no good news for the traditional Judgement Day fans who supported Priest as a face of the faction since his inception alongside Edge, it might bring some fun to others who are more welcoming of some occasional shake-ups in the faction.
