SummerSlam 2023 saw Finn Balor failing to avenge his seven-year itch again. After interference from The Judgment Day and miscommunication among the members, Balor failed to capitalize on his momentum and lost after a vicious Curb Stomp by Seth Rollins.
However, the conclusion of the match saw, Seth Rollins share an intense stare-down with Damien Priest. Although Rollins began his rivalry with Finn Balor, it now seems to be shifting toward The Archer of Infamy, Damien Priest. This clash of egos showed a clear tension between Balor and Priest. Balor then followed in Cena’s footsteps with a cryptic social media post.

WWE legend John Cena is known for his different approach on social media, and his habit of posting cryptic content on his Instagram. The majority of his uploads come without any solid context, and it is up to the fans to identify the meaning behind the cryptic posts.
Recently, former WWE Universal Champion Finn Balor took a similar step when he upload a cryptic tweet. Balor would upload a picture of Damien Priest from SummerSlam. After Balor failed to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Priest would sport a dejected look on his face and stare at Balor.

Balor decided to pick this up and share it on his Twitter profile. With possible tensions boiling between these two stalwarts, fans wonder when they are going to turn against each other. Both are hungry for World title victory, these two teammates can now turn on each other anytime.
Following his loss at SummerSlam, Balor would again try to attack Rollins on the following WWE RAW episode. However, Rollins would come with his own team of Cody Rhodes, and Shinsuke Nakamura to defeat The Judgment Day.
Unfortunately, things would not go as planned, as Nakamura would turn on Rollins after the match, and lay him out with a brutal attack. Now, with Nakamura possibly going after Rollins, it seems Balor would like to defuse the tension between him, and Damien Priest.
