Despite being big names in the wrestling world, Shane McMahon’s sons have taken to football as they progress in the field of their passion. However, Shane McMahon shows his support for their passion as he shares the news on social media.
Shane McMahon’s son joins the NCAA football
Shane McMahon took to Instagram on February 9th to post a picture of his second son Kenyon McMahon while wishing him for his recent selection. The caption for the post read, “So proud to be Kenyon’s Dad. Hard work pays off” The post comprised three pictures showcasing Kenyon McMahon’s selection in Carolina Football at NCAA football.

Kenyon McMahon has been involved in football since a young age as he was playing as safety and wide receiver in high school at Poly Prep Country Day in Brooklyn, New York. The announcement was made earlier in the week on X by Kenyon.
Interestingly, Kenyon’s older brother and Shane McMahon’s first son, Declan McMahon also plays football at the D1 level. The 6-foot, 170-pound athlete graduated in 2024 to join the seniors at the University of North Carolina. As per the Indiana University Athletics site, Declan McMahon plays Running back for the Indiana Hosiers football program.
Kenyon McMahon responded to his father’s post by commenting, “Love you dad.” Declan McMahon also commented on his father’s post with a gif. Shane’s post also received positive responses from other members of the WWE family as former superstars like Rikishi, Braun Strowman, Stacy Keibler, MVP, and Natalya.
The news comes as a source of happiness for the McMahon family who has been surrounded by media for all the negative reasons in the recent past.

Shane McMahon’s father and previous owner of WWE, Vince McMahon left the company and his position in the TKO Group amidst major controversy. Not only has he lost his position and image but also his family’s reputation. Since the lawsuit was filed, neither Shane McMahon nor his sister have made public appearances.
Well, Shane McMahon has already left the company after his involvement in the Royal Rumble 2022. As Shane McMahon forced himself to be among the last four contestants, he was quietly let go by his father shortly after. Now, he quietly spends time parenting his three sons with his last WWE appearance coming at WrestleMania 39 where he tore his quad in the very first spot of the match against the Miz.
