All wrestlers have their days of self-doubt. This is especially true when they are at the very start of their career. Such a thing happened with Brock Lesnar as well. Although the wrestler was introduced to the promotion in 2002, he found himself back at square one, a year later. This was because this time around, Lesnar was going to be performing at his first-ever WrestleMania.
That wasn’t the only concern he had. To add to his anxiety, The Beast Incarnate was going to be facing his long-time idol, Kurt Angle. This throwback to the old times shows the progress that the wrestler has made since then.

WWE recently uploaded a clip on Instagram, showcasing a nervous Lesnar before WrestleMania XIX. As Lesnar was about to appear for his first WrestleMania in 2003, he had his share of doubts. This was not necessarily because of the scale of the event. Rather, he was nervous because he did not want to underperform in front of his idol.

Although the outcomes are pre-fixed for the matches, Angle was a doubt for his title match at ‘Mania, since the legend broke his neck in a match much prior to the WrestleMania fight, he was suggested to undergo surgery.

However, the surgery meant that he would have to leave his title vacant for Lesnar to compete with somebody else. Despite the urgency and his health requirements, Angle took the risk of battling the Beast Incarnate and put on a memorable match.
