Seth Rollins is considered one of the most charismatic wrestlers on the mic. While Dwayne Johnson and John Cena are the pinnacle of wrestlers turned actors, Rollins has had his fair shot in the spotlight. Being one of the most popular wrestlers in the WWE since his SHIELD days, he’s been in a couple of acting roles. But how many movies has Rollins been in? And when did he start?

Seth Rollins debuted as an actor in 2016

Rollins first debuted as an actor in the 2016 TV movie Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens. The fourth installment in the popular Sharknado franchise saw Rollins in a cameo appearance. The film also starred Tommy Davidson, Masiela Lusha, Imani Hakim, Cheryl Tiegs, and Gary Busey. He played Astro-X Lopez.

The next year, in 2017, he would appear in the action-horror movie Armed Response alongside Wesley Snipes. Snipes produced and starred as the main lead. Despite being a commercial and critical flop, fans thought Rollins upped his game.

He would lend his voice to the animated WWE studio movie The Jetsons & WWE: Robo-WrestleMania! which came out the same year. In 2019, he would lend his voice for the second time in the movie Trouble. In 2020, he appeared in the comedy movie Like a Boss starring Tiffany Haddish, Rose Byrne, and Salma Hayek.

Now, Rollins is all set to appear in the next Marvel movie, Captain America: Brave New World. The movie is slated for a 2024 release, which is currently in post-production. The movie stars big names like Anthony Mackie, Harrison Ford, Carl Lumbly, Tim Blake Nelson, etc. The current WWE World Heavyweight champion has also been in several TV shows and web series.

Rollins made his mark in television and web series as well

Prior to making his acting debut, Rollins showed up on an episode of Extreme Weight Loss on the ABC Network. He was there to help a massive WWE fan lose weight and motivate him to have a healthier lifestyle. Apart from that, he’s also appeared in multiple web series.

The most well-known is UpUpDownDown on YouTube. He also appeared on the Smosh Games’s channel and Superstar Ink. In 2017, he appeared on the Southpaw Regional Wrestling web series episode “Dry Rub” Doug.
