Marcedes Mone, especially her next stop after NPJW has been a constant hot pick in the wrestling ring for a long time now. Earlier, the released WWE star was highly anticipated to board the Stamford-based company again before a negative report about the financial disparity between both parties emerged.
Then AEW talks came next in the rumor card and continued to gain momentum with the latest report cranking up the drama even more.

Sasha Banks made a bold WWE walkout in 2022 due to a creative disagreement with Vince McMahon and landed at her dream promotion. After having quite a loaded time in there, the Golden Goddess is now standing at a massive crossroads in her career as her NPJW contract is rapidly nearing.
After a lot of back and forth, the speculation seems to be settled with the notion of Banks going hand in hand with Khan’s promotion.
The certified talent catcher, the AEW head honcho, was looking to bring her in last year, but somehow it didn’t materialize. Khan seems the same eagle-eyed as the latest report, suggesting Mone could already be an All Elite as well, keeping it well wrapped under the cover.
Even if it’s not the case, she will be there shortly. At least, Sean Sapp of Fightful Select believes so.
He reaffirmed the same in the latest tweet to quench fans’ curiosity, saying, ‘Same. Expected to go to AEW. Don’t know when she’s debuting.’

He also wiped out any a bit of doubt in the threads.
However, there can always be a counter side of the argument even if the chances appear slim.
Mercedes Mone’s WWE return doesn’t seem an impossible deal either
Standing at the doorsteps to the Royal Rumble and after multiple supposed AEW non-debuts, it won’t be wise to completely dismiss the notion of Sasha Banks’ return to WWE.
Along with this line, Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t Ortman) reported that some WWE insiders have suggested that WWE could play the same secret card with Mone’s potential Rumble return as they did with CM Punk.
Also, WWE has kept the massive return of The Rock close to their chest until the last minute and even toyed with audiences by bringing Jinder Mahal back into the fray. All of this pointer coupled with Mone’s recent IG story that depicts her iconic Royal Rumble 2022 gimmick made the chance of her homecoming quite an easy buy.
