Even at the “Last Minute”, Sasha Banks’ Family Member Showed “Pro” Skills Making WWE Legend Homecoming “Absolutely Perfect”

For a wrestler, their gear is something that defines them and over the years, fans start associating them with that look and sometimes even wear the same to WWE shows. These become a fashion statement or in most cases a Halloween costume. In the current roster, we have Seth Rollins with his outlandish costumes, Rey Mysterio’s iconic masks, ‘Mami’ Rhea Ripley’s emo metal look, and Asuka with her ever-so-colorful radiant persona, to name a few.

But a recent gear change by Sasha Banks’ hubby made a WWE Legend feel just at home.

Trish Stratus was with the WWE from 2000 to 2006. In this time period, she has sported multiple looks ranging from a white lingerie wedding piece crashing Lita’s wedding with Kane to just a simple t-shirt and tight pants.

But her most popular look without doubt was when she sported a cowboy hat coupled with a leather trench coat. She also wore tight pants and a tight top with a bare midriff. And that’s exactly what she wore this week to her RAW homecoming in Winnipeg, Canada, along with a mask to protect her nose, minus the cowboy hat and trench coat.

What made it extra special was that it had a Canadian feel to it because of the patriotic red and white colors. And this wonderful gear was created by Sasha Banks’ hubby Sarath Ton who is also WWE’s costume designer. Trish took to Twitter to thank Sarath, saying, “Gear appreciation post! A @iammikaze original! Thanks Sarath – I love this gear … being in Winnipeg it had a little nod to Canada and was a modernized version of some of my old gear styles. Loved how it came together – and rather last minute too but came out absolutely perfect. You’re a total pro”.

But sadly, the fans in the arena couldn’t get a proper glimpse of her attire as her match with Becky Lynch took a backstage ticket.

Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus’s match got counted out and became a full-on brawl backstage

This match was supposed to take place at SummerSlam but later got pushed to August 14th due to the tight schedule that WWE follows for PLEs. And it was extra special as it was happening in Trish Stratus’s own country, Canada.

Just 7 minutes into the match and Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus went straight into the crowd to continue the fight which led to them being counted out. But Lynch continued pounding Trish as she had a bone to settle with her and the fight continued backstage.

Things were getting scary for Trish until Zoey Stark came to her rescue and they both attacked Lynch, finally leaving her all destroyed on the floor.
