The love and respect wrestlers get for the things they do is unbelievable. We see it as entertainment, but the bumps they take are quite real. Most people must remember this when discussing a wrestler’s career and longevity. Last Friday’s SmackDown saw AJ Styles nailing a springboard 450 splash on Karrion Kross for the win.

This prompted many to use social media to praise his athletic performance at 46. However, one social media post by the Twitter handle, ‘Wrestle Buddy’ caught the attention of Styles. They wrote, “Unbelievable sight! AJ Styles nailing a 450 Splash at 46.” They went on to talk about how it looked like child’s play for the veteran and how he could keep doing it till he was 60.

However, this prompted Styles to comment on the post, “This is completely false. AJ Styles could not wrestle till he was 60.” This comment by Styles hints that he will not be doing this for as long as people expect. A fellow OC stablemate ‘Michin’ Mia Yim, tried to get involved claiming that Styles could do it till 60. However, Styles shut her down as well.
