After being implicated in the lawsuit filed against Vince McMahon, Brock Lesnar’s ties to WWE have been severed. The Beast found himself removed from WWE’s imminent creative plans, as well as the cover art of the WWE 2K24 video game. Lesnar’s scheduled return at the 2024 Royal Rumble event also did not pan out.

There seemed to be a sigh of relief for fans of the Beast after his name was found to be a part of the current roster page on the WWE’s official website. However, according to several reports, the WWE never removed his name from their website. Things have gotten really confusing now, but according to a popular wrestling source, there have been moves to bring Lesnar back.

In the latest edition of Wrestling Observer’s F4W podcast, hosts Bryan Alvarez and Mike Sempervive discussed the details of the WWE lawsuit and the status of Brock Lesnar. It was during this conversation that the host Bryan Alvarez revealed that there have been inquiries by the WWE to try and bring back Lesnar to the WWE. He said, “I should add, regarding Brock, I’m not saying he’s going to be back. I have no idea if he’s going to be back. I wouldn’t bring him back, but I can tell you that there have been inquiries made. And what that means, we will wait and see. But it seems, it seems like a bad idea to me.”

With the WWE all geared up for WrestleMania, maybe they are trying to bring in more crowd by bringing back Lesnar and having him involved in proceedings. However, according to a veteran of the sport, Lesnar might find it hard to find his way back into the company and the UFC.

He said, “I think they’re doing everything they can to scrub them from the minds and memories of anybody associated with WWE. That [return] is not going to happen. I sincerely doubt we’ll see him in the UFC anytime again. It’s the same company, same people that’s involved, so that’s not gonna happen. Barring something earth-shattering, which I don’t even think is possible.”

However, according to Bischoff, Lesnar might return to the wrestling circuit but it will not be with the WWE. Instead, he might make his way to Japan. He said, “Yeah, I imagine it. I mean, maybe in Japan, yeah. Because they’re not fully out of care. The culture over there is so much different. They’re not paying close attention. You don’t have political correctness. And I don’t mean that in a divisive way. You don’t have the kind of awareness and focus that the media puts on things that we consume every day.” So what do you think? Will we get to see the Beast return to the WWE? Let us know in the comments.
