Having a defining moment is a key turning point in a pro wrestler’s career. That moment becomes one of the highlights in one’s professional run because of the changes it can bring about his or her life in the industry. Wrestling legends like Hulk Hogan and Steve Austin have had their respective defining moments. However, Becky Lynch is not behind them in this aspect either.
One of the horsewomen of female wrestling in WWE recently appeared on Insight to talk to Chris Van Vliet. During the interview, they were talking about The Man’s defining moment. Despite the greatness her moment held, Lynch didn’t pay much attention to it back then.

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan had his defining moment when he slammed down Andre ‘The Giant’ at WrestleMania III. Similarly, ‘Stone Cold’s 3:16 speech he replaced his name in a Bible verse and called it ‘Austin 3:16’ during the ‘King of The Ring’ in 1996. While comparing Becky Lynch to these industry legends, Vliet wanted to hear her thoughts about her defining moment, but she had a surprising reply in store.
During the November 12 2018 episode of Monday Night Raw, Becky Lynch led the SmackDown invasion to RAW. In the middle of the battle, she was busted open after a punch in the ring. The image of a bloodied Lynch standing tall became iconic, however, Lynch wasn’t all aware of what was going on. She revealed that due to the concussion, she was completely clueless that it could have been her defining moment.
She confessed, “I didn’t have a clue. Like, I had enough thought to be like ‘Camera is still on me, enjoy this moment, the crowd’s going wild. This is cool.’”
She still considers it amazing that fans see such moments as ‘defining’ and hold them close to them while they could’ve been missed by the stars themselves. But no matter what Lynch thinks about it, her moment on RAW did shape a better future for Lynch and the women in WWE.
