It’s a mixed bag when it comes to the former WWE Champ John Cena‘s social media. On the one hand, it’s pretty self-explanatory on X, but Instagram is a whole different ballpark. Cena gained a reputation for uploading rather cryptic posts on the platform. You will find images with no caption or context on the regular from the Hollywood star. This has gained a reputation among the WWE Universe as Cena’s way of having fun as they are left to decode the meaning. A more recent post by Cena involved the now-famous Drake meme.

The former 16-time Champ recently sat down with Complex Pop to answer a few questions. Among them was one regarding his trademark cryptic Instagram posts. As mentioned above,  the star’s Instagram account and interactions often puzzles fans. With 3,605 posts and a 20.4 million following, his posts are viewed by people worldwide from all wakes of life. However, with zero context as to why they are up here, people have some questions. Cena had a simple reply to this: he asked the producer to read out his bio on Instagram. The producer read, “Welcome to my Instagram. These images will be posted without explanation, for your interpretation. Enjoy.” To this, Cena added, “Enjoy!!” Furthermore, the producer replied that he did enjoy the meme, to which Cena simply smiled and said, “Right on.”

Despite having fun with pop culture happenings, the Hollywood star also dabbles in content involving WWE storylines. The 16-time world champion recently commented on the Cody Rhodes and Dwayne Johnson feud.

John Cena posts about the Cody Rhodes and Dwayne Johnson feud

On his Instagram, Cena posted an image of the iconic 80s video game Punch-Out!! featuring Mike Tyson. Fans were quick to call out that this image was an interpretation of what went down there. The ‘TKO’ was for Johnson’s seat on the board, and Tyson in the game represented Johnson knocking out Rhodes. As usual, Cena did not provide any context for this post.
