Brock Lesnar is one of those rare gems who got WWE’s boundless trust. Being a quote-unquote Vince McMahon guy, The Beast clearly got a higher push in the business than others. Getting his flowers in the company quickly attracted a lot of jealousy from the locker room.

Winning the coveted WWE Championship shortly after his debut, the former MMA talent has successfully entrenched himself as another hated wrestler thrown into the mix. However, Matt Hardy stood against the crowd and was pretty happy seeing a new guy prosper within the business.

Despite coming under the fire of Lesnar during his first WWE run, the Broken One didn’t hesitate to admit Lesnar’s supremacy as a prized fighter. Hardy revealed when McMahon buried others to some extent to glorify the young Brock Lesnar, he never found it a sin. In fact, a hyped-up Lesnar overstepping him couldn’t make him offended. It’s because he believes Lesnar rightfully got the edge over others to be the center face of the company.

Articulating his generous standpoint on the same, one-half of Hardy Boyz noted, ”Looking back in hindsight, though, he deserved it to be there. He was the guy who was gonna make money. He deserved to be there, and that was a good call on that. He’s a special talent. He’s a very, very special talent.”

Not only that, WWE once summoned Matt Hardy alongside his brother Jeff Hardy to elevate Lesnar during their early altercations.

The Hardys excelled in their chemistry and evoked strong reactions from the crowd by the time McMahon found them reliable enough to make Lesnar a bigger talent.

Matt Hardy revealed WWE called them to face Lesnar first. It was because the company higher-ups knew they would be very fair to the newcomer and would help him build a superhero image for the collective good of the company.

Vince McMahon even thanked the veterans for their delicate handling of Brock Lesnar post the match.

While Lesnar continued to be a draw in the promotion to date, his former rival weighed in on the idea of having him in the Tony Khan-led promotion someday. The AEW star believes Khan must offer a solid deal to lure The Beast into his promotion.

However, he calmed the waters by suggesting the situation stems from a hypothetical scenario. Lesnar will probably continue dancing under the WWE ring until retirement, given his close association with McMahon.
