John Cena’s Oscar stunt backfires: A little too much?

“Costumes, they are so important,” were the first words Cena uttered as he stood in front of Hollywood stark naked. Cena was there to present the Costume Design award for the evening. When Cena strutted out on stage, the first sight resulted in a mixed reaction. While actors like Margot Robbie, who worked with Cena, were visibly amused and surprised, others didn’t know what to make of this. Showcasing his chiseled 46-year-old body, Cena remained calm and showed off his charisma.

While this grand entrance had noble intentions, no one watching was prepared for it. The outlandish gesture was done to showcase the importance of the category and the people involved in the costume department. However, social media was buzzing because people just saw Cena naked at the Oscars. This resulted in the 16-time World Champion trending on multiple social media platforms.
