“Edge, This Is Your Arch Nemesis”: Months After Bursting Into Tears for Edge, John Cena Pays Another Emotional Tribute to Him

Edge is one of the most prolific superstars in WWE history. After completing a glorious 25 years in the business, superstars and fans across the world have come together to pay their appreciation and admiration for the Rated R Superstar. However, in the midst of all the superstars, the most profound is by Edge’s greatest rival, John Cena.

Now in a video released recently, we see the leader of Cenation congratulating Edge, months after his emotional breakdown of the superstar. 

John Cena puts forward a beautiful tribute

25 years is a historic number. While superstars sustain injuries and are never able to compete, Edge’s grit and determination to prove something landed him in this remarkable feat.

Now on SmackDown, WWE released a video compiling reactions from different superstars who congratulate Edge on a stellar WWE career.

Superstars from Kurt Angle, Sami Zayn, and even his old rival The Miz, thanked and praised the 49-year-old. However, it was Cena’s reaction that garnered the maximum attention.

In the post captioned: “Thank you Edge,” Cena says: “Edge, this is your arch nemesis John Cena saying congratulations on 25 years in the WWE. We are amazed at your professional dedication and passion.”

Though the two have always shared a mutual respect for each other outside the ring, it still fills WWE Universe with joy to see their two beloved superstars have such an incredible rapport. However, this isn’t the first time Cena has raved about his old nemesis.

Cena paid a mesmerizing tribute to Edge earlier

A few months back, Cena shocked the world when he got teary-eyed by heaping lavish praise on Edge. He heaped applause by quoting: “I really hope everyone watching knows just how gifted, and caring, and amazing Adam is. He also added: He’s given so much to you guys, and I also think he’s aware of what you’ve given him.”

The video that broke the internet left millions of fans with their hearts tugged. The sweet gesture received an equally fitting response from Edge, who later in a video celebrating his 25 years with word association, associated Cena by saying “My foil. Work Ethic”

With his latest addition of adulation for Edge, the 16-time world champion has once again proved why he’s a great soul himself. The two wrestlers have etched their names in wrestling folklore with their rivalry against each other and countless other wrestlers. Having shared a dressing room for a long time, it comes as no surprise to see the two wrestlers forge an emotional bond.
