Paul Heyman has had a unique career in the world of professional wrestling. While WWE and WCW clashed in the late 90s, he brought in ECW as a threat to take over both companies in TV ratings. There are ample stories from the ECW era of wrestling that have been covered in several documentaries. Recently, Tod Gordon appeared on the Outdated Wrestling podcast to promote his new book ‘Tod is God’. He mentioned having stories in the book that The Bloodline’s Special Counsel hasn’t shared yet.

Gordon said, “I’m gonna tell you stuff that you weren’t told before. You’re gonna hear stories about drugs, s*x, rock and roll, all that good stuff, and you’re gonna hear some bad stuff too about people who were just dishonest. What really happened to Paul and I? I mean, there’s a lot of stories in here that have never been told publicly before.”

The 68-year-old added, “If ever you were a fan of ECW, anybody, they’re going to say, ‘Wow. Wait, what’, or they will be hysterically laughing. It’s that kind of thing…Nobody’s telling the true story. It had to be told finally. I would have stayed quiet for life if he hadn’t done that DVD.”

Nevertheless, the extreme promotion closed its doors in 2001 as Heyman announced bankruptcy. The situation was so bad that RVD once mentioned that Heyman owes him a lot of money until today.
