Dwayne Johnson’s Star Power Creates a Major Problem in James Gunn’s Upcoming Plans Six Months After Being Left Out of the DCU

Even though Black Adam didn’t go the way everyone thought, Dwayne Johnson is still a huge star. When The Rock enters the film as a cast member, there are a lot of eyeballs on that particular project. However, recently, The Rock’s $7 billion franchise received an addition to its upcoming project. Surprisingly, the new addition comes from DCEU and this will create a problem for James Gunn’s massive future project.

This writer has opted for the Fast and Furious Franchise over a massive DCEU project after the new Flash movie. Clearly, Johnson’s massive star power might create a problem for DC, nearly six months after his departure from the studios.

Flash movie writer reportedly opts for Fast and Furious 11 over the next DCEU film!

As  The Brahma Bull returned to Fast X, the excitement for the next installment is increasing every day. Writer Oren Uziel was going to pen the 11th part and now as per Deadline’s exclusive report Flash screenwriter Christina Hodson will also join him to write the next part.

Furthermore, a couple of days ago, The Hollywood Reporter shared an article about Hodson’s future in the DCU. The studio has confirmed the next Batman movie named ‘The Brave and the Bold’. But Hodson has opted to write for Fast Franchise’s next film over the new Batman movie.

The report said, “It is unclear if the project has a writer. According to sources, Christina Hodson, who wrote Muschietti’s Flash, was circling but decamped to work on a Fast and Furious movie. It is unknown when a writer would be hired, given the current screenwriters strike that has brought movie and TV development to a standstill in Hollywood.”

The Batman movie will center around Gotham City’s top detective finding out he has a son Damian Wayne. However, Fast and Furious 11 might be focusing on The Rock’s character Luke Hobbs as per Fast X’s post-credit scene.

Indeed, this is a huge step for the Flash screenwriter. Nevertheless, Uziel and Hodson haven’t worked together before, but have a great relationship. Hence, while working together for the first time, they’ll try to come up with a top-notch script for the film that will focus on DJ’s character.

Apart from Dwayne Johnson John Cena is another big pro wrestling name settling well into Hollywood. He got to work with Hodson first when she wrote the film Bumblebee.

The Cenation Leader played a role of an army officer in the 2018 film. Apart from Flash Hodson also wrote for the DC film spinoff Birds of Prey.
