NASCAR’s richest driver was impressed by the fact that the Daytona 500 could invite a mega-celebrity like The Rock for the event. It was a great achievement for the show as it puts NASCAR on par with events like the Super Bowl.
He further revealed an incident about The Rock from the event as The Great One was provided a small accommodation during his stay at Daytona. Earnhardt said, “I heard, they put him up in this little thing and they emptied out the suite, next to him. So, he could bring all of his workout gear and he had a little gym.” Responding to the anecdote, his wife said, “He went to bed and woke up at midnight to do a middle-of-the-night workout.”
