WWE superstars often make fun of each other as part of their gimmicks and play pranks from time to time. However, everyone can read the room and tell what’s a prank and what’s an attack. The fans recently picked up a social media post by the daughter of Dwayne Johnson attacking a top NXT star.

Ava is one of the leading names in the NXT and a vital part of The Schism. Ava recently made a social media post, ridiculing a wrestler, who almost made it to his father’s football league, XFL. In fact, she also tried to make him a part of her faction.

Ava is a fourth-generation wrestling star and part of the heel faction, The Schism. She hails from the protracted Anoa’i family and takes on after her father, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The Schism member has had quite a satisfactory singles run and has also gained huge momentum in the NXT division.

On 19th September 2023, Ava tried to recruit one of NXT’s top guns, Trick Williams. However, the persuasion and schemes she used failed to ‘trick’ Williams into joining hands with The Schism.

After she failed to recruit Williams, Ava took to X (formerly Twitter) to take a dig at Williams. Ava tweeted, “@_trickwilliams we tried. also, your outfit looks cheap.” Ava had tried to gaslight Williams into believing he was lonely after he left Carmelo Hayes. But when Williams didn’t yield, Ava took a ‘cheap’ dig at Trick’s outfit.

Fortunately, Williams knows his value and is aware of how to be his own man. In fact, he single-handedly managed to join the WWE without any external help when he tried to join the XFL of Dwayne Johnson.

However, the Attitude Era wasn’t the best exposure for kids back in the day, hence, his mom didn’t approve of pro wrestling. This vacuum was later filled by football, and Williams took a serious swing at his chances to make it to the NFL.

Williams even appeared for a tryout for the Philadelphia Eagles but failed to make the cut. This brought him to the doors of the XFL, where he filled out a questionnaire. During this time XFL was still owned by Vince McMahon. To his great surprise, Williams was approached by people from the WWE instead of the XFL.
