The Rock was the principal attraction of the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown. In the main event of the show, Roman Reigns appeared with his faction and introduced The Rock as a new member of The Bloodline. The People’s Champ then introduced himself to the crowd.

The Rock played his heel part with perfection to the Salt Lake City fans. Fans in attendance invited the ire of The Rock after they began chanting Steve Austin’s catchphrase, “What?”. The Brahma Bull blamed the WWE Universe for ruining his match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. Moreover, he assured fans that Cody Rhodes would leave the main event without his cousin’s belt. And while this segment portrayed a sentiment against fans, it received adulation from the wrestling faithful as it broke Cody Rhodes’ incredible feat on YouTube.

As Dwayne Johnson joined the Bloodline, the WWE Universe stood still as they reminisced about The Attitude Era with The Rock being a heel. In fact, they loved the segment so much that fans couldn’t help but watch it and rewatch it on YouTube. And within 24 hours, it garnered over 2.3 million views.

On the contrary, a few days ago, on Monday Night RAW, Cody Rhodes acknowledged the fan support he got as the fans trended #WeWantCody. In the segment, he addressed the infamous slap and the Rock’s words against him. He also thanked World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, who joined him in the ring for the promo and later offered to stand alongside the American Nightmare as his ultimate shield in his fight against the Bloodline.

The much-loved segment managed to get 1,064,704 views on YouTube in just nine hours but now stands at 2.3 million views in four days. It took the Brahma Bull less than a day to reach the same views as the American Nightmare’s segment. No wonder he is called the ‘People’s Champ’.

However, there is another unfortunate record on YouTube that is also held by Dwayne Johnson and his cousin, as they broke the internet a few days back with the infamous segment that started the #WeWantCody.
