There are very few Hollywood buffs who don’t admire the electrifying on-screen chemistry between the highest-paid Hollywood hunk Dwayne Johnson and his BFF Kevin Hart. The celebrated duo paired up in a lot of iconic movies so far. From Jumanji: The Next Level to the hit Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, they did a commendable job together. It’s safe to say that fans thoroughly enjoyed their screen time over some popcorn.

But what earned them even more spotlight is their off-screen bond full of banters and unbreakable emotional support. The Rock’s struggle in his larger-than-life is an open secret to all. Similarly, Hart also has his fair share of failures about which he wrote an entire book named I Can’t make this up: Life Lessons. The $450 million actor’s initial phase in his career was not that glamorous. He messed up his very first stand-up comedy show back in 2012. He was heavily booed on the stage.

Also, Hart’s debut movie in Hollywood, soul plane fell victim to bootleggers, and it pretty obviously took a massive toll on box office numbers. He has lived through many more difficult days and The Rock saw it all.

The Rock acknowledges Kevin Hart’s struggle and reveals their rock-solid bond

The Rock himself was a self-made man who created his high-profile place in the industry, surpassing every battle life threw at him. But his fans know how much the Brahma Bull values his friendships and close relationships in order to survive the challenges of life. DJ noted, ‘He’s been through the grind. He understands what it’s like to fail, to learn. He’s also ambitious and hungry and then you also start to realize that having friends is so vitally important as you just get a little older because you lean on each other, you can open up, it’s like ‘man you gotta, if you’re having a wobbly day, call me, I’m there’ like that kind of stuff. I felt like in college, in 20s and when I was running in WWE, we were there for each other but it’s a different kind of, I think love and security that you have.’

However, while we don’t know much about the future of their personal relationship dynamic, it seems like we won’t be able to see the spectacular on-screen pairing for long.

Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart’s partnership is on the verge of an end

DJ has been suffering some setbacks in her big-budget Hollywood career lately. His recent DC film Black Adam hasn’t done great in the box office and eventually, it led him to part ways with 6.3 billion worth franchise. To add more to it, his heated issues with Vince Diesel pulled him from the Fast and Furious franchise as well. Now, it seems like his one remaining prized asset, the Jumanji franchise, is also set to bid him goodbye, as Kevin Hart has some other plans.

Hart appeared at the 2023’s Academy Award where he spilled the bean about the next Jumanji series. Speaking with Variety, the comedian-actor noted that he and The Rock plan to do a Jumanji 4 and that will most possibly be their last movie together on the big screen.
