In a surprising revelation on Cheap Heat Productions, a former WWE legend opened up about a work offer from another WWE superstar. Dwayne Johnson offered the former WWE star a life-changing opportunity to recognize his talents. ‘The Rock’ offered Marty Garner a job as his production assistant. Fans remember Garner from a botched pedigree from Triple H during a match in 1996.

Marty Garner recalls a special incident in his life. During an interview, Garner recalls the incident where he received an unexpected job offer. Garner spoke in great depth on the offer he received from the WWE legendary wrestler and shared his experience about working with “the Rock”.

During his conversation, Garner opened up about how “the Rock” offered him a job. The Veteran recalling their conversation said,

“I knew he was doing a background check on me but I just I went with it I just played along so I’m at a wrestling match in uh Fayetteville North Carolina one night Rock calls me  ‘Hey bro it’s man you ain’t never asked me for nothing man he said I appreciate you man you’ve always been a friend of me he said everybody that knows me wants something from me for you he said now I’m going to ask you for something”

Recalling his conversation with “the Rock”, Garner jokingly said,

“and I said look dude I ain’t gay no I’m just kidding so anyway he says uh he said I want you to come work for me man on a movie would you want to do that and he said first of all let me ask you this he says uh how much do you make a week and a weekly pay”

According to Garner, he was aware of the background check on him. But he wasn’t aware that Johnson might call up and offer him the opportunity to work with him on the film he was doing.

According to Garner, Rock wanted him to receive more opportunities in WWE and also outside the ring.

His dissatisfaction with Vince McMahon during his stint at WWE influenced the Hollywood star’s decision to offer him work. Nevertheless, the former WWE star revealed how it was working with Johnson.

Marty Garner had started his career in the ring and then went out exploring different opportunities. Garner worked for Rock as his production assistant.

Garner recalls he was wrestling at an independent event when he received a phone call from Johnson. As the conversation proceeded, the movie star Johnson invited him to work with him on the 2004 film Walking Tall, which was to be shot in Vancouver.

Garner explained while working with the Rock he earned $2,500 per week. Garner recalls working with Rock was a lot of fun and a heck of a ride. While in his conversation, Garner admitted he has fond memories of working with superstar Johnson.
