The feud that kicked off from the WrestleMania XL Kick-off show is now moving full steam ahead. From Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson slapping Cody Rhodes to Rhodes issuing an open challenge to The Great One at Elimination Chamber. Johnson’s heel turn brought all the attention to this rivalry, and now The Rock is ready to take it to the next level. After announcing he would face Johnson anywhere, anytime ahead of WrestleMania XL, The Rock has an answer for Rhodes. While not confirming anything, this hilarious troll move is something straight out of heel Rock’s playbook.

Dwayne Johnson teams with WWE for hilarious Cody Crybabies merch

A line by Johnson that has taken a life of its own is the “Cody Crybabies” title Johnson issued for Rhodes’ fans. This term was first coined on the Pat McAfee show ahead of the WrestleMania XL Kick-off event. This would go on to echo at the event when The Brahman Bull used it on the fans chanting, “We want Cody.” While the “Cody Crybabies” have accepted this term in defiance of The Rock, Johnson one-upped them.

Teaming up with WWE, Johnson released a new life of merchandise titled “Men’s Black The Rock Slap T-Shirt”. This hilarious shirt is available in black with sizes ranging from S to 5XL on shop.wwe.com. The t-shirt has the hilarious Batman slapping Robin meme replaced by Johnson and Rhodes. There is even dialogue by Rhodes, “Hey Rock, my fans are not cryba…” With Johnson replying, “Shut up! You’re all crybabies.” This is accompanied by a comic book accurate “Bang!”

The Hollywood star would continue to use this term even during his appearance on SmackDown when Roman Reigns made him a member of The Bloodline. Fans can now be seen holding up “We are Cody Crybabies” signs at WWE events. Will Rhodes come out with his own merch for his fans? Nevertheless, their beef looks to soar to greater heights with The American Nightmare challenging The Brahma Bull to a match.

Will The Rock accept Cody Rhodes’ challenge for a one-on-one?

The biggest question heading into this week’s episode of SmackDown is, whether Dwayne Johnson accepts Cody Rhodes’ challenge for a singles match. While fans would love to see this happen ahead of WrestleMania, many believe it will be at Mania XL. The WWE has a lightning bolt on its hands with the Rhodes storyline, and they would not want to squander this on weekly programming.
