Recently, Dwayne Johnson opened up about his WrestleMania 39 plans and why they fell through. In addition, he also said that he is open to competing at WrestleMania 40. The fans were over the moon after hearing this statement come out of Johnson’s mouth. Many took to social media to share their excitement.

But fans are not the only ones excited to see ‘The Great One’ compete at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania next year. WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan recently predicted how grand it is going to be if Johnson makes an appearance.

Hogan recently had an interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, where he made a bold prediction about the potential match between The Rock and Roman Reigns at Mania 40. He stated that if the bout happens, it will be a great spectacle for the WWE Universe to watch.

He said, “The Rock, he’s one of a kind. He’s on another level. That was noticeable right away. But one part stood out to me–and I thought it was very clear. Rock still has wrestling in his blood.” He later added,If The Rock comes back at WrestleMania, it will be a moment people will never forget.”

He added that even though Johnson hasn’t been in the pro wrestling field for quite some time now, he could easily pull off a match at Mania next year. He is still in great shape and would definitely give a banger performance at The Showcase of Immortals. The entire WWE Universe wants Johnson at Mania. But will he actually wrestle?

Earlier this year, heavy speculations were going around as everyone predicted ‘The Brahma Bull’ going one-on-one against his cousin, Reigns. However, it didn’t happen. Instead, fans saw Cody Rhodes facing ‘The Tribal Chief’ in the main event of Mania Night 2.

Speaking to Pat McAfee at his show last week, Johnson revealed he wanted to face his cousin this year at Mania 39. But unfortunately, his busy schedule hindered his return to the promotion in April. When the football punter asked him about wrestling next year, he said that he is open to the idea.

This is great news as finally, the WWE Universe could get what they have been longing for – Johnson putting an ending to Reigns’ wrath in WWE. With ‘The People’s Champion’ returning to WWE last week on SmackDown, the chances are now looking even higher that the much-anticipated bout will actually take place.
