The Rock has always been a strong proponent of equality. Now, the wrestler-turned-actor and businessman has proved it, according to a recent clip posted on his social media.

Dwayne Johnson posted a clip on Instagram on November 10th of a training session at his production company, Seven Bucks Productions. As per Johnson, the training session was conducted by renowned educator, Dr. Jackson Katz. It was based on educating men to respect, protect, empower, and stand up for women.

The Rock requests men at Seven Bucks to redefine manhood

The Rock wrote a quote from Dr. Katz in the caption that read, “The standards you walk past, are the standards you accept…” It was a reference to men setting standards for other men to redefine manhood.

The Rock appealed to every man in society to create a better environment for women around them. Today we focused on women as victims of harassment and abuse – and the critical role that us men play in its prevention,” he wrote. In the end, he thanked the male employees of his office in the post, as the session was directed towards his male employees.

The session was conducted at Seven Bucks Productions office, a company set up by Dwayne Johnson and his ex-wife Dany Garcia. It is a popular production house that has given us movies like Baywatch, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Black Adam, Shazam!, and Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw.

The name Seven Bucks is taken from the amount of money Johnson had after he was left off from Canadian League in 1995. But, what is the equation between Johnson and Garcia now?

Despite a divorce, Dany Garcia and Dwayne Johnson work together

The couple married each other in 1997 and divorced in 2007. Though, it was a tough decision for both, Johnson believes that it was the right decision. While talking to Legendary Comedian Trevor Noah on ‘What Now?’ Podcast, he spoke about the decision. He said, “I learned exactly that. What you just said, is that we can still make it all happen. We just have to be unattached to how we get there. And let’s also be unattached to what the original goal was. Now, the original goal wasn’t divorce, and divorce was f***ing hard, man.

During his divorce, The Rock woondered if it was the right decision or not. However, later the couple realized that they were better off as friends than partners. Hence, they are working well as part of the same company.
