Apart from his Reign of Terror, it seems that Roman Reigns is now well-known for his multiple hiatuses as well. The Undisputed Universal Champion was last seen inside the ring at SummerSlam ’23. And now, it seems that Reigns might be planning yet another break for himself already. Having returned to WWE on the SmackDown Premiere, Crown Jewel ’23 might be his last PLE of this year.

New reports suggest that WWE might be taking an alternate route to Reigns’ booking for the rest of the year. For the fans who like to see him on television, this news might be upsetting. Let’s see what plan of WWE’s is causing Reigns’ hiatus again.

After making his WWE return on the SmackDown premiere this year, The Tribal Chief hasn’t yet had a single match. However, WWE did help start a feud for the wrestler to build up the main event for Crown Jewel ’23. He is slated to wrestle against LA Knight at the PLE. After that, WWE has another event to pay attention to. However, reports suggest that we won’t be seeing Reigns at Survivor Series this year.

WON first reported that the original plans that WWE had for Roman Reigns could be scrapped by the promotion. But now, the media house is reporting that Reigns won’t be seen anywhere during the night.

According to Dave Meltzer’s sports newsletter service, WWE hasn’t booked The Tribal Chief for Survivor Series this year. WON suggests that the next we will see Reigns in a PLE after his title defense against LA Knight would be in 2024 during the Royal Rumble.

Although they didn’t shed light on the reason why the heel is going on a hiatus yet again, we might not see him during weekly shows either, considering how big of a star he is in the promotion.

New stats mixed with some speculations suggest that these regular hiatuses are causing Roman Reigns to lose his pull with fans. Opposed to the time when he was one of the most loved WWE superstars, WWE fans might be feeling disconnected from him.
