Ever since Punk returned to the WWE, major heat has been going on backstage. This has been mostly in the locker room. While many of the wrestlers have come forward to congratulate Punk on his return, others like Rollins and even Drew McIntyre have voiced concerns regarding the matter.

This episode of Monday Night RAW opened with Jey Uso facing off against Drew McIntyre. After failing to clinch the world title in his last week, McIntyre attacked Jey. However, before starting the match, the Scotsman had a few words for Punk. While Jey hyped the fact that Punk could be on RAW, McIntyre had other words.

McIntyre walked out to the ring and said, “We do not want CM Punk in the locker room. He will destroy this place, inside out.” He followed this up by saying that he traveled with Punk in the WWE and knows what he speaks is the truth.

The possible McIntyre vs Punk feud

While this is not a probable storyline, with the interaction Punk has had with McIntyre backstage, this could be a possibility. Punk made it clear on this episode of RAW that he wants to go after Rollins’ WWE World Heavyweight Championship. This is something McIntyre is also after.

With his sights set on Rollins’ gold, McIntyre could be the thorn in Punk’s shoe. The two could have a brief feud that we’ve seen McIntyre have with Sami Zayn or Jey Uso.
