CM Punk‘s return to WWE has been celebrated among several sports fans and wrestlers. However, some people aren’t happy with this comeback. One of the people who is not fond of Punk’s return to WWE is Seth Rollins. Given their shared history, the World Heavyweight Champion’s view is understandable. However, he will not stop until he puts a stop to Punk’s ‘hype train’.
The two share a controversial history. So, asking Rollins about Punk’s return was something that any interviewer would want to do. When The Visionary was asked about the same on SI Media, his answer was hostile.

Although The Visionary never crossed paths with CM Punk inside the ring, their feud has always stuck in real life. Now, it looks like WWE is trying to adapt their real-life rivalry into a storyline too. When Rollins recently appeared in a podcast, he couldn’t hold back from giving his honest thoughts about Punk’s return.
Jimmy Traina recently had the opportunity to converse with Seth Rollins regarding one of his real-life foes. As one would expect, it wasn’t the happiest of topics for Rollins.
The Visionary began by saying, “Look, he said some really bad things about me. Talked down about me for years, and the company, for years. I’m talking some really bad stuff. Called me a bootlicker and crap like that.” Then, the World Heavyweight Champion continued, “I felt pretty insulted by a lot of the ways he treated me, treated the place I work for, treated friends that I worked with. I don’t need to get into any of the stuff with Colt Cabana if you want to look at that kind of stuff, that’s out there. Just the way he treated people.”
Keeping this in mind, it seems that Rollins is not intent on delving into the matter much further. But it hasn’t stopped the promotion from trying to turn it into a potential feud. The Aerialist’s words suggest that he is all set to teach his rival a lesson. The only thing that he needs right now is a green light from the Stamford-based company, to book them a match.
Despite the threats that Punk received from Seth Rollins, the WWE legend is still backed up by another star in the promotion.
