At this point, Dwayne Johnson is one of the most talented action heroes in Hollywood. Having worked with industry giants and billion-dollar franchises, it’s unique to see Johnson in a predicament. Whether it was jumping off falling buildings in Rampage or punching 20 guys in a single scene in Fast Five, Johnson has always delivered his best.

But San Andreas was a different movie for him altogether. Not only did it see him flying a helicopter, but it was set in a natural calamity that requires working with first responders and understanding their work ethic. If Johnson is one thing, he is a hard worker, and he didn’t back down from learning and improving himself throughout the filming of the movie.

From the IMDB website, we found a quirky tidbit about the movie, San Andreas, which came out in 2015. While at this point, Johnson had enough experience with action movies after working on the Fast series and other movies. But San Andreas demanded something new of him. It wasn’t just to punch a wall or jump off a cliff; it was to understand the work of the first responders, the fire department.

About working on the movie, Johnson revealed, “That was a different part for me. It was exercising a different muscle that I hadn’t before. I’ve played characters like this where I’m pretty proficient, and I hope to be taking care of business, whatever that business is.”

“But in this case, it was very different than anything I had experienced before. I spent a lot of time here in L.A. and a lot of time in Australia with those men and women.

Even in other action movies, Johnson has put in extra effort in shooting their action scenes. Despite other stars taking the help of stunt crews, Johnson has honestly admitted to having worked with 12 stuntmen previously. Even 12 people are a minute number compared to other movie stars like Vin Diesel.

Through all this hard work, Johnson confidently gave one of his best action movie performances. Not only did the movie perform well in the theaters, but it was also picked up for a sequel. At the moment, there have been rumors that Johnson is completing the shooting for the sequel.
