CM Punk could be the future World Heavyweight Champion

Any wrestling fan who has been following the promotion for a while knows that The Best in the World doesn’t fall short of controversies. One of his real-life feuds also includes one against the current WHC of WWE. It turns out, WWE could be planning to use the real rivalry between Punk and Seth Rollins to converge it into a storyline.

Recent reports by The Wrestling Blog suggest that there were plans to have the returned wrestler potentially feud against The Tribal Chief and other talents. However, one rivalry that seems to be “100% lock” will take place against “The Visionary”.

Although some might consider it early for the former AEW star to be receiving a championship in WWE, the promotion could be planning on doing so to completely utilize the pull that Punk currently holds.

There were indications that Rey Mysterio would also be one of the first rivals that CM Punk gets to wrestle against. However, since WWE is playing him for a kayfabe injury, the ex-UFC star might have to feud against Rollins first.
