Money in the Bank is one of those nights when there is an exponential rise in injuries. Considering the high risk involved during the Money in the Bank ladder match, superstars are bound to get injured. Although WWE talents went to the trenches, fortunately, there weren’t many injuries reported at the end of the night. However, Triple H revealed the only embarrassing injury that someone suffered backstage.

Injuries are commonplace in wrestling. Especially when superstars are involved in high-risk matches. Although the fans witnessed a series of barn-burning matches, nobody suffered a major injury.

The event at the O2 Arena was nothing short of spectacular. Triple H also relayed that, performance-wise, Money in the Bank was the highest-grossing arena event in the history of WWE. After every major live event, it is not uncommon to see certain talents step back and spend time away from the ring due to injuries.

At the end of the night. Triple H was relieved to learn that no performer suffered a grave injury during the matches. However, there was someone—whose identity Triple H would not disclose—who got hurt while returning from the ring.

He said, “The only injury tonight was, I’m not even going to say who it was because I don’t want to embarrass them but, the only injury tonight was somebody on their way back from the ring after having done basically nothing, rolled their ankle on the walk back.”

Nevertheless, the fact that nobody was seriously injured during the performance was reassuring. One of the most iconic moments during the men’s MiTB ladder match was when Ricochet executed a springboard 450 splash on Butch and Santos Escobar while they were lying on the ladder. Moreover, Ricochet hitting a Spanish Fly on Logan Paul from the second rope as both stars crashed through the tables was also a scary spot.

Aside from the mystery person who rolled their ankle, Cody Rhodes relayed that his back was hurting.

Is Cody Rhodes injured again?

Last year, Cody Rhodes tore his pec in the weight room. The injury kept him sidelined for over six months. However, Rhodes made his comeback and won the Royal Rumble earlier this year. At Money in the Bank, Rhodes was not involved in a high-risk match, but he could have suffered a minor muscle strain.
