News about WWE star Randy Orton has been rare lately. He has been absent from wrestling for over a year because of a back injury. There were concerns that the injury might end his career. However, Kurt Angle provided a more positive update on Orton’s injury during a recent episode of The Kurt Angle Show, where they discussed Vengeance 2006. Orton’s father, “Cowboy” Bob Orton, had previously stated the doctors advised Randy to never wrestle again.

Orton was last seen on the “Raw” Tag Team Championships in a “Winner Takes All” match against the Tag Team Champions, The Usos. Kurt Angle provided some major health updates regarding his former opponent.

Angle gives a positive update on Randy Orton

During his podcast, Angle showered praise on Orton, and shared the health update of the third-generation superstar.

Angle said, I think he’s gonna come back pretty damn soon oh good he’s doing much better yes I’ve noticed a little bit more activity on social media lately family vacations and things like that which is kind of good sign that uh he’s coming back to life yeah he’s good that he’s breathing oxygen” 

Angle added that Orton has been active on social media and his bouncing back well. In 2006, Kurt Angle joined the ECW brand and emerged victorious over Randy Orton at One-Night Stand.

This victory set the stage for their subsequent match at vengeance, where Orton ultimately triumphed. Randy Orton currently holds the record for the most appearances by a male superstar in WWE pay-per- view events. His absence from the company in the past year has been noticeable, and his presence has been sorely missed.

According to the WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle, Randy Orton was among the most outstanding wrestler he collaborated during his career. Angle highly praised Orton’s portrayal as a villainous character, considering it as one of the highest caliber.

The Olympic Gold medalist Kurt considers Orton the best heel

During an episode of the Kurt Angle podcast, in his interaction session, a fan inquired about Kurt’s ranking of Randy Orton. The fan questioned if he placed in him in top five.

Without hesitation, Kurt enthusiastically agreed and exclaimed “absolutely”. He further said, especially as a villain, he considers him in the top two. Randy Orton is just a phenomenal heel and is one of the best. He also added that for him, Roc and Freddie were the most entertaining heels.

During the fan interaction, a fan also popped up a question if Randy Orton would still be actively wrestling at such a remarkable level. In reference to the injuries he had endured, looking back at the year 2006.

Kurt explained Randy had begun his wrestling career at a relatively young age of 21 and now nearly after 15 years, Kurt expressed that he wasn’t surprised to see Orton still thriving in the wrestling universe

Kurt has been always vocal about his opinions. The Olympic Gold medalist has often praised and appreciated his opponents and congratulated them on their achievements. His humble nature has won him the votes of his fan across the globe.
