Despite Making His Private Gym a Forbidden Place, Dwayne Johnson Recently Allowed a Professional Bodybuilder to Work Out in His Iron Paradise

At 51 years of age, Dwayne Johnson can give professional bodybuilders a run for their money. The Brahma Bull loves his crushing workouts, which occupies a spot in his daily schedule. However, he prefers working out alone and does so inside his private gym- the Iron Paradise. Of late, the wrestler-turned-actor has opened his gym doors for a special person, who shared the news on social media.

Who is the professional bodybuilder enjoying a special privilege from Dwayne Johnson?

Fans of the Hollywood actor know him for his big heart. He’s often seen pampering his close ones with lavish gifts. But when it comes to sharing his gym, he’s rather choosy about it. Luckily, that’s not the case with one of the closest members of his circle- Dany Garcia. Yes, Dwayne Johnson’s former wife and current business partner knows her way around the gym and the 51-year-old didn’t hesitate to let her workout.

Garcia, 54, is a professional bodybuilder, apart from being her ex-husband’s advisor. She shared a story on Instagram letting her followers know about the recent development. In it, she hailed Johnson as her ‘best Virginia neighbor’ and thanked him for letting her use the facility while she awaits the construction of hers.

“We have the best Virginia neighbor who lets us borrow his gym while ours is under construction,” Garcia wrote on Instagram. The former couple has several successful joint ventures, including the XFL. However, they also have a failed joint venture, which could have been a big event for the bodybuilding industry.

As a fitness freak, it is no surprise that Johnson takes an active interest in bodybuilding. And while his love for the movies led to the formation of a production house, thus enabling filmmakers to carry out their passions, fans might ask why didn’t the 51-year-old do something about bodybuilding.

He did. At least he tried. In 2019, Johnson and Garcia announced the launch of Athleticon, which they claimed was the biggest bodybuilding expo. Unfortunately, it never took off. Most of it is due to the coronavirus pandemic as the inaugural season was set for October 2020. The next year, Athleticon’s date clashed with Mr. Olympia, forcing the former’s organizers to scrap their plans. The event was set for 2022 but didn’t take place.

No date has been announced for 2023 so far. This remains a rare blemish in Johnson’s business ventures. Their success in several businesses has contributed to his $800 million net worth.
