Dwayne Johnson has a good record of attracting viewership for his Hollywood projects. This is partly because of the credibility he has built as an actor and partly because of his influence on the global audience. However, just like any other Hollywood star, Johnson is also bound to hit some bumps in his career. One of those recent setbacks was his project ‘Black Adam’.

Hart to Heart Season 3 is now airing on Peacock. In a recent episode of the talk show, Dwayne Johnson showed up to have a conversation with his Hollywood best friend, Kevin Hart. A clip shared by ‘Peacock’ on their official YouTube channel gave fans a highlight about an interesting topic the two conversed about. In the clip, Hart asked the former wrestler for his views on why Black Adam failed. After collecting his thoughts for a few moments, Johnson finally spoke.

The Covid era and its lockdown and the changing leadership at the company got the best of the movie during its filming stage. According to The Rock, when a company is big, every change matters a great deal. In fact, he even mentioned how there were creative changes that he wasn’t completely on board with.

You have people coming in who, creatively and fiscally, are going to make decisions that you may not agree with. So, I think Black Adam was one of those movies that got caught in that web of new leadership, and you know, that will always be one of the biggest mysteries, I think,” said the lead actor of the movie.

Even before sharing his thoughts on his friend’s talk show, Johnson showed his disinterest in continuing the project long ago. This was portrayed through his social media actions.
